Congratulations to our newest Rebekah Member, Julie Forbes, who was inducted on Thursday night.

On April 14, Gladys Forbes and Paula Hartly were presented with their 50 year Jewels by members of their families.

We inducted 4 new members into Carnation Rebekah Lodge on April 24, they are John Andrews, Sarah Andrews, Carly Allen, and Cassie Allen. Congratulations to all and welcome aboard.

Rebekah Convention and Degree Rally — District 52, 53 and 57 - Registration at 11 AM, Lunch at 11:30 for all who attend. Meeting at 1 PM with Degree work done by State Degree Staff. Will have at least 6 candidates. Short meeting will follow.

There will be no meeting on November 27th due to the Thanksgiving Day holiday.

Dorothy L. Wilson died Saturday, May 10, 2008 at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City following a short illness.

A funeral service honoring her life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 15, 2008 at Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service with Reverend Paul Akin officiating. There will be a luncheon to follow the service at the American Legion Post #17 at 3016 Muscatine Ave., Iowa City. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Coralville at a later date. Visitation will be held 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Dorothy’s memory to Elder Services RSVP Retired & Senior Volunteer Program, American Legion Auxiliary Scholarship Fund, or the Johnson County Historical Society (Old Coralville School). She was a 51 year member and past Noble Grand and district deputy president of Rebekah Lodge, also she was a past chief matriarch of Ladies Encampment/Rebekah Auxiliary #5.

Carnation Rebekahs will meet March 13th and 27th.

On January 8th, Sister Donna Wyjack passed away she was a true Rebekah and friend also. She was also able to find time to help someone and was one of the first ones to show up at various functions. And we do MISS her.

On November 14 four Rebekah Sisters: Judy Bender, Noble Grand, Donna Wyjack, Mary Ann Harris, and Peg Allen visited Sister Anne Bulechek and presented her to her 60 year jewel. What an achievement and we congratulate Anne. She isn't able to attend out meetings because of health reasons, but she is a TRUE Rebekah sister. We were blessed to bestow this honor on her.

Carnation Rebekahs will meet on December 13 at 7:00 PM for their regular meeting, and again on December 17th at 7:00 PM.
